We are able to undertake all aspects of service and repair to your vehicle regardless of the age, make or model. Only trusted parts that match the vehicle manufacturer’s original equipment (O.E.) specification are sourced and fitted to our customer’s vehicles, maintaining the integrity, strength and purpose of the original design.

BRAKES

Our workshop will be happy to carry out a FREE brake inspection on your vehicle subject to booking. A thorough inspection of the braking system can be carried out, including measurement of the dimensions of your vehicles brake discs, pads and shoes, where fitted. This information is then compared to the manufacturers recommended minimum wear dimensions to give an accurate indication of the true condition of your vehicles braking components and braking efficiency. Please do NOT rely on the visual assessment of an MOT inspection to give an accurate condition of your vehicles braking system.

Warning

The MOT assessment of a vehicles braking system was relaxed in early 2010. We strongly advise all customers to consider the safety of their vehicle, passengers and pedestrians. These changes to the MOT inspection were put in place by politicians to improve upon the UK MOT failure rate.

BATTERIES

Our workshop will be happy to carry out a FREE battery inspection on your vehicle. A series of tests can be carried out to establish the true condition of your battery ahead of any failure with the assistance of the latest testing equipment. If you have any worries with regard to the condition of your battery, please contact us in the first instance and we will endeavour to assist you prior to any inconvenience occurring.

SUSPENSION & STEERING

The steering and suspension systems fitted to your vehicle require regular inspection to maintain the performance and safety levels built into the manufacturers design. These systems consist of wear and tear items and adjustable settings. All of which can fall victim of the condition of UK roads. The slightest amount of damage on a vehicles steering and suspension system can effect the geometry of the vehicles wheels and tyres, causing excessive wear, steering pull and braking imbalance. Our workshop will be happy to assess the condition of your vehicles steering and suspension components to assess for damage and wear and tear and complete any repairs required.

WELDING & RESTORATION

Our workshop is able to undertake all welding repairs to MOT and manufacturers standards. Our workshop is equipped with the latest equipment and can fabricate repair panels to suit your vehicle. We are also able to undertake all aspects of vehicle restoration to original or customer specified design. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

PARTS

Harvington Motor Co. have a strict policy of only providing parts of original equipment (O.E.) specification, or of a higher specification or quality, the later is most common in the repair or upgrading of Classic and Historic vehicles. It is not in the companies’ interest to supply customers with parts of an inferior quality of that expected to maintain customer satisfaction and vehicle reliability.

We will be happy to supply our customers with any required parts subject to the manufacturer’s conditions and returned parts policy. Please note that electrical parts once installed are not returnable.
